Vita McDouall


Vita began formally coaching for Capital Coaching in 2018. In year 13 at Samuel Marsden Collegiate School, she is captain of the School Senior A tennis team (placed 7 th in the National Secondary Schools Competition in 2019) and has played for the Senior A team at Marsden since year 10.

Vita has had international experience as a player, including 4 intensive weeks at the Saviano Performance Tennis Academy in Plantation, Florida, the academy that produced Eugene Bouchard and Sloane Stephens.

She has also played several tournaments in France and in Australia. Vita started junior interclub for Karori United aged 8 and has won many club championships. She has played Premier Womans Division 1 Interclub for the past 2 years for the Pukerua Bay Tennis Club and before that Division 2 for Pukerua Bay and Division 3 for Karori United Tennis Club.

Vita has represented the central region in many tournaments and has played age group national competitions, numerous regional and national tournaments and a number of ITF tournaments. Vita has completed the 40-hour Community Coaches Course run by Tennis NZ and is in the process of completing the 120-hour Junior Development Course, an internationally recognised coaching qualification.
